Not all decoration ideas that suddenly pop up in my mind do work out. This one did, I think. Some days ago, when I randomly looked at my vintage typewriter, I got the idea to put a nest with eggs in it and use it as the focal point for a spring vignette.

When I searched my stash for a spring themed page of sheet music, I found one called “Frühlingssehnsucht” which is German for spring longing.


The nest and eggs are creations from last year. You can find my descriptions how I made the eggs HERE and the nest HERE.

My typewriter wasn’t the only piece that got repurposed for the vignette. Of course not :). I cut some plum tree branches and used an old milk can as a vase.

The lantern was a junk yard find from last year and I thought a nest would look good in there too.
